July 4th Celebration
The Lago Mar 4th of July Parade and Picnic are cancelled this year, however, the Lago Mar Civic League Board members will be judges for the “most patriotically decorated house”. The judging will begin at 1200 Saturday July 4th. A second round of judging will take place after sunset.
The top three houses will be featured in the LagoMar Living Magazine and the winner will receive $200. Winner must be a member of Lago Mar Civic League.

Celebrating July 4 in Lago Mar
We normally celebrate July 4th with a parade and picnic, a tradition decades long. Under the current situation the LMCL has decided it’s safer to cancel the parade and picnic for 2020. However, we will celebrate! Keep an eye on our Event page and the Facebook page for updates and details about the Best Decorated Patriotic House competition. Get your creative gears turning and get ready to show your best!
Volunteers Needed for the Civic League Board
The Lago Mar Civic League is looking for volunteers!
There are two positions open on the current board: Secretary and Membership.
The LMCL meets once a month to plan events for the neighborhood and discuss needs. Meetings are kept short and sweet but with lots accomplished!
