We are proud of our son, Nolan Wiltshire, for making Chancellor’s List (all A’s) for his 1st semester at East Carolina University and being invited to join Phi Eta Sigma Freshman honor society this April. He is majoring in Business Management. (051812)

2012 Lago Mar Golf - Scholarship Awards
Eighteen applications were submitted for consideration. The success of the golf tournament dictates the amount and the number of awards. The ultimate goal is to be able to award all eligible graduating seniors. This can only be achieved with the help and generosity of the Lago Mar residents and loyal sponsors. The proceeds from this year’s tournament provided the opportunity to award six scholarships. The selection process was extremely difficult as all the applicants are amazing young adults. Scholarship recipients this year are:
William van Reesema is graduating from Ocean Lakes High with a 4.4 GPA. He will be attending University of VA in the fall where he will play football and study engineering.

Devin Alissa Rowell will be graduating from Ocean Lakes High School with the Mathematics & Science Academy Class of 2012. Throughout her high school years she has participated in OLHS field hockey, soccer, track & field, and wind ensemble (flute). She is a member of the Ocean Lakes National Honor Society and maintains a GPA of 4.08. Devin founded the W.A.V.E. Club (Water Awareness Volunteer Experience) where she currently acts as President. She volunteers as a junior docent at the Virginia Aquarium. Devin will focus her future studies in biology, emphasizing marine ecosystems, at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville beginning this fall.
